Model Heaven!

We had so much fun hanging out with models Anya Rozova (Willhelmina) and Ronnie Kroell (New York Models) yesterday at the I ♥ Gen Art Benefit in NYC.

There were so many great people who attended the benefit including Olivia Palermo, Whitney Port, Zac Posen, Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, Christian Siriano and many more.

Thank you so much to the Gen Art organization for organizing such a fab event. We cannot wait till next year.

Paul Richard, is an amazing controversial artist that can transform a simple painting into a subversive act. Richard loves to play with the idea of who gets to decide what art is and who is the artist. He says the difference between seeing something as a prank or as art is sometimes just corporaate financing and backing of an institution. He began painting at the age of six, went off to become a graduate of Harvard, studying humanities, and only studied painting for one semester at art school. Like any innovative artist, he is always trying to reinvent his technique.

Here is a piece of Kate Moss and Paxil from 2005 in oil on canvas.

This is why we LOVE Giorgio Armani! He is always taking care of the little people.

The designer who is the chief executive and sole shareholder of the multibillion-dollar company he founded in 1975, donated $1 Million to the Fund for Public Schools of New York City. He felt like it was time to give back to the New York community which has embraced and supported him throughout his career.

It is so imperative that we take care of our youth and educate them wisely. They are our future! Thank you Giorgio Armani (www.giorgioarmani.com) for such a wonderful gift to our community!

Here's a post from Yahoo News:

NEW YORK – "Giorgio Armani is giving $1 million to nurture arts programs in New York City public schools.
The designer announced the gift as he opened the Armani/5th Avenue flagship store Tuesday evening. The donation will support arts offerings in schools with many disadvantaged students.
The new initiative is called the Armani Arts Institute. The designer sees it as "giving young kids a chance to dream."
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says arts education is "an essential component of a well-rounded curriculum," and Armani's gift will help insure all city students have a chance to experience it.
The contribution is going to the Fund for Public Schools, a nonprofit organization that supports city schools. It has raised more than $240 million since 2003."
